Yes. Ferry schedules do not align with flights. We recommend spending two nights in Padang, one on arrival and one before departure.

Does the Mentawai Fast Ferry run daily?

No. The ferry operates every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. It departs Padang at 7 AM for Siberut and returns to Padang at 2.30 PM on the same day. Ferry schedule →

Is a Padang hotel included in your transfer arrangement?

Transfers are included, but hotel accommodation in Padang is not.

Are porter fees fixed?

You will need to pay porters in both Padang and Siberut harbors. The fee depends on how many board bags you bring.

What does your transport package include?

Pick-up from Padang airport, hotel shuttle, ferry tickets, Siberut harbor pick-up, and speedboat transfer to Mentawai Balcony.

How much do I pay before arrival and on check-in?

A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days before arrival.

What kind of food is served?

Our All-Inclusive package includes three meals daily with unlimited coffee, tea, and soft drinks. Meals are freshly prepared with a variety of Indonesian and Western dishes, so guests enjoy different menus each day.

Can I pay with cash and credit card?

Yes. Indonesian Rupiah is recommended for cash payments. We also accept Visa, MasterCard, and TransferWise.

What are your check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is typically around 3 PM, based on the ferry schedule.

What are the booking and cancellation policies?

To confirm your reservation, we require a 50% down payment. This deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.
Cancellations made at least 30 days before arrival are accepted, but the down payment will not be refunded.
Guests who need to reschedule may request a new date at least 30 days in advance. Rescheduling is possible only if the desired dates are available.
These policies help us manage limited availability since we host a maximum of two groups at one time.
