Mentawai Balcony is a locally owned Mentawai surf accommodation, set directly on a private beach, near Playgrounds surf zone, part of the Mentawai Islands Regency in West Sumatra, Indonesia. You can reach it with a short 10-minute boat ride from the mainland of Siberut.

Just behind the beach is Pei Pei village. Here, you can see how the Mentawai people live, eat traditional meals, and observe their daily customs. This adds cultural depth to your Mentawai surf trip.

Mentawai Balcony offers direct access to some of the best and most consistent waves in the Mentawai Islands. All breaks are located in the Playgrounds area, and can be reached quickly by boat:

Beng Beng – A playful left-hander with long walls. Ideal for intermediate and advanced surfers.
Nipussi – A reliable right-hander that breaks often. Suitable for all surfing levels.
Pitstops – A fun and forgiving place right in front of the beach. Great for warm-up sessions.
Ebay – A heavier left with barrel sections. One of the top waves in the area.
